Jaco Theron succeeds in unpaid salary claim

In May 2022, acting on behalf of South African rugby player,  Jaco Theron, Morgan Sports Law filed a claim for unpaid salary against Mr Theron’s former club, CS Dinamo București (the “Club”), before the Committee for the Status and Transfer of Rugby Players of the Romanian Rugby Federation (the “Committee”).

On 27 June 2022, the Committee partially upheld Mr Theron’s claim (the “Decision”).

In August 2022, Mr Theron successfully enforced the Decision against the Club under the regulations of the Romanian Rugby Federation and has now been paid the sum awarded to him in full, plus interest.
