Marin Čilić wins CAS appeal
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (“CAS”) has confirmed that Marin Čilić’s appeal against the decision of the Independent Anti-Doping Tribunal of the International Tennis Federation (“IADT”) has been partially upheld.

The CAS Panel has set aside the sanctions imposed by the IADT and has replaced them as follows:
- the 9-month ban imposed by the IADT is to be reduced to 4 months, meaning that Mr Čilić is free to compete as of tomorrow, Saturday 26 October 2013;
- the ranking points and prize money won by Mr Čilić between 2 May 2013 and 25 June 2013 are to be reinstated.
Mr Čilić will now play at the Paris-Bercy BNP Paribas Masters 2013, commencing on 28 October 2013.
